Ambassador Sattler highlighted that this visit for the opening of the Via Ferrata Piva in Plužine was his first visit outside of Podgorica since taking office in early September.
"I believe it's no coincidence that I'm in beautiful Plužine. The potential for tourism is immediately visible, and I am convinced we will continue along this path. Cross-border cooperation is very important, and connecting people represents the essence of the EU, particularly in regions like the Western Balkans," said Sattler.
The President of the Municipality of Plužine stated that the implementation of this project would contribute to positioning Plužine as an extremely attractive tourist destination.

He also pointed out that the Municipality of Plužine has already completed several projects with the EU Delegation and expressed hope that there will be even more such projects in the future.

She added that this project could be viewed from multiple perspectives, as it opens up opportunities for attracting even more tourists and nature enthusiasts, while also strengthening the local economy, encouraging higher quality services, and promoting youth inclusion.
The Director of InTER, Dragiša Mijačić, stated that the opening of Via Ferrata Piva holds a great significance for cross-border cooperation and the elevation of touristic offerings.
