"Libya Competes” Job Fair in Tripoli

In this year’s edition of the highly successful “Libya competes” job fair series, almost 270 candidates presented their applications to thirty companies from the telecommunications, e-commerce, services, construction, retail, agribusiness and manufacturing sectors.

The “Libya Competes” job fair was held in Tripoli in December. The fair could attract 30 Libyan companies and almost 268 job seekers competing for employment in a variety of sectors, ranging from telecommunications and e-commerce, to services, construction, retail, agribusiness and manufacturing. The job fair is organised in the framework of the “Competitiveness facility for Libyan small and medium-sized enterprises” project funded by the European Union and implemented by Pragma Corp. It is the third such event in Libya, after first editions organised in Tripoli and Benghazi in late 2021.

About 75,000 visits were registered to the platform and 1775 applications were received. Among the 440 interviewees, 40% of the interviewees have been invited for a second interview.
