The EU has supported Lebanon’s water sector for years. Yesterday we provided the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment critical supplies to help it meet the higher demand for water in areas hosting displaced people. This conflict has led to too much suffering, too many displaced, too many civilian casualties, too much destruction. An immediate ceasefire is needed.
