Erasmus+: Knowledge which is needed today and tomorrow
Aidana Saparbaeva got her dream come true during the last year of her study at Ala-Too International University – she spent one semester at the University Of Applied Sciences Of Zwickau in Germany with the support of the Erasmus+ program.
She recalls that she was a little nervous in the beginning, but these were just her fears. Aidana had to study a lot thus succeeded in exploring new materials at the German university. “German education aims at obtaining knowledge that is needed today and tomorrow. Therefore, I carried out a lot of practical cases which were really useful’’, she said.
Erasmus+ program provided her with a monthly scholarship, which covered the necessary expenses for housing, insurance, and helped with tickets and visa support as well. Aidana told that she could even be able to travel within Europe and managed to visit seven countries.
The following impressed Aidana the most as she highlights that the European education system is designed for learning and developing comprehensively. Furthermore, the social support policy of the EU inspired Aidana to make her decision regarding her future career.
Aidana is one of the many students from Kyrgyzstan who were awarded with Erasmus+ scholarship and enlarged their experience in learning, developing and making their pathway towards their career dreams.
