The European Executive Agency on Culture and Education (EACEA) and DG JUST have launched a call for proposals on the rights of the child and children’s participation from which Kosovo and other WB countries can benefit. The objective of the call is to respond to children’s current needs and challenges in the EU in the WB beneficiary countries. It pays specific attention to the rights of children with specific needs and vulnerabilities, including those who fled the Russian’s war of aggression against Ukraine. It covers four main priorities:

• Children’s mental health
• Embedding a ‘right of the child perspective’ in actions at national and local level
• Children’s engagement and participation
• Understanding democratic rights, which starts in childhood.

Please note that the Information Session is organised for January 24, 2024. This session aims to present the funding opportunities under the 2024 Call for Proposals for rights of the child and children’s participation to any interested applicant and stakeholder.
