EU- Kenya EPA sensitization forum held in Athi River

During the senzitization forum, European Union Ambassador to Kenya Henriette Geiger called on Kenyan entrepreneurs to diversify export products to the European Union for increased profits.

Last week, the EU Delegation to Kenya and stakeholders in Trade and Investment held another sensitisation session addressing the opportunities offered to the private sector by the EU - Kenya Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

In attendance at the session was the Director of the State Department of Trade, Mr Joseah Rotich, Ministry of Investments, Trade & Industry, who noted that the EU-Kenya EPA had provided Kenyan exporters unlimited access to the EU markets.

The sensitization session held in Athi River was also attended by Kenya Association of Manufacturer's acting CEO, Tobias Alando, Machakos County Secretary Dr Muya Ndambuki and other government officials.
