International Women’s Day Seminar Building on a new momentum for gender equality – Towards a better working environment for women –

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Japan is pleased to invite you to a seminar titled “Building on a new momentum for gender equality – Towards a better working environment for women,” co-organised with the Japan-EU Parliamentary League of Friendship and the Parliamentary League to Promote Women’s Political Participation and Advancement.

 

The promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment remain a key policy priority for both the EU and Japan. A better business and working environment for women is an indispensable part of progress towards nurturing greater gender equality. 

At this event, European and Japanese stakeholders will discuss common challenges, share experiences and best practices and identify potential avenues for cooperation.
