Call for expression of interest for drafting a Guide to Research Funding Possibilities in the EU and Japan
The Science, Innovation, Digital, and other EU Policies Section of the EU Delegation to Japan is calling for expert proposals for the drafting of a Guide to Research Funding Possibilities in the EU and Japan.
The Guide should be one of the first tools a researcher turns to when considering funding for his or her research proposal. The guide should cover funding under the EU’s research framework programme (or alternative EU-wide funding opportunities) and any type of public funding in Japan.
The Guide’s chapters will need to be structured around the objectives of the researcher or research entity (does it concern funding for PhD research, for post-doctoral work, for monobeneficiary funding for excellent research, for mobility or for collaborative consortium-based research?). For each type of funding, key features (such as eligibility, duration, funding amount, etc.) need to be explained.
Interested applicants will be given more detailed information about what table of contents is expected and the deliverables.
Additional information about private source funding would be encouraged (cross-country EU-based private source funding, or national Japan-based private source funding).
The language of the Guide will be English.
The expected fee cannot exceed EUR 8,000 (excluding VAT).
