The European Union is India’s largest trading partner in goods having a share of 12.6% in 2023-24. In the last decade, EU-India trade in services has increased by more than 150%.  EU has invested Euro 88 billion in India from 2000-2023. With 4,500 EU companies operating in India, they have contributed to creation of over 1.7 million direct and 5 million indirect jobs in the country.
