Ms Vilborg Harðardóttir is Icelandic and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Leisure and Sociology Studies from the University of Iceland. Alongside her studies, Ms Harðardóttir worked as a director of a youth centre and a primary school teacher in Garðabær, which provided her with a valuable insight into community issues and municipal services.

Ms Harðardóttir recently completed a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Iceland with a particular focus on welfare and youth issues.
