The EU Ambassador to Iceland, Ms. Clara Ganslandt, held the annual EU Delegation's New Year's Reception at the Ambassador's Residence on Tuesday evening. By hosting the reception, the Ambassador wanted to celebrate the close and impactful cooperation between Iceland and the European Union as well as thank those who had worked closely with the Delegation in 2024.

The year 2024 was a busy year, particularly due to the 30th Anniversary of the EEA Agreement. The Delegation collaborated with a great number of institutions, businesses, academia, cultural and art institutions across the country. The Delegation also welcomed hundreds of guests last year.

We thank those who attended and we look forward to the many exciting projects in the year 2025.
