University Students from Honduras learn about Erasmus+

The Delegation of the European Union in Honduras alongside with the Member States with presence in Honduras (Germany, Spain, and France) participated in the Scholarship Fair organized by the National Youth Institute of Honduras (INJUVE), the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The Delegation of the European Union in Honduras alongside with the Member States with presence in Honduras (Germany, Spain, and France) participated in the Scholarship Fair organized by the National Youth Institute of Honduras (INJUVE), the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

A large number of future professionals from Honduras approached in search of information and answers to their questions about Erasmus+, nowadays one of the international scholarship programmes attracting the greatest interest in the country.

Enriching the experience, the students enjoyed the inspired talk given by Oscar Andrade, a former Erasmus+ grantee. Through his personal perspective, attendees gained a unique and realistic view of what it means to be part of this program.

The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio García, the Secretary of the National Youth Institute, Zulmit Rivera, and vice principal of the Autonomous National University of Honduras, Ayax Irías, together with the Chargeé d’affaires of the EUDel, Sonia Vega, visited the Erasmus stand expressing their commitment to educational strengthening and cultural exchange.

More than an information space, the Scholarship Fair stood as a bridge to transformative opportunities. The future professionals of Honduras have in their hands the possibility of boosting their academic and professional careers at a global level, and this event was just the beginning.
