The EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations, known as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy. The EU Delegation to Ghana's mission is "Building a strong partnership with Ghana to promote Peace and Prosperity for People and Protecting the Planet".
We offer
We offer a position of Driver in an international and multicultural environment. Under this post, the recruited person will be attributed functions depending on the needs of the Delegation. The jobholder will drive the Head of Mission and staff members on general assignments within Accra and on official missions across Ghana or to neighbouring countries. The place of employment is Delegation of the European Union to Ghana -The Round House - 81, Cantonments Road, P. O. Box 9505 KIA, Accra, Ghana.

We look for
We are looking for a defensive driver, alert, punctual, responsible, with an excellent sense of navigation. He/she should be reliable, proactive, polite and discrete at all times, respectful of the hierarchy and interacting with others professionally. Requirements of the post are as follows:

Qualifications |
Secondary education certificate; Police clearance report; Valid driver's license (minimum class B); Computer literacy (outlook, office applications, internet usage).

Any additional training for drivers. Additional driving license class (A, C, D, F) |

Professional experience |
Minimum five years experience driving across Ghana. |
Working experience with a diplomatic mission or international organisation. |

Knowledge of languages |
Very good communication skills in English (oral & written). |
Any other languages including local ones. |
