Voices for Change: Podcast and Jingle
Amplifying the Message through Radio and Billboards
Radio Jingle: Throughout the campaign, we aired a powerful radio jingle on Sheger FM, Ethiopia's oldest private radio station, spreading the message against GBV and street harassment to a wide audience.
Listen here to the podcast recorded for Sheger FM and broadcast on 3rd and 8th December. The conversation focuses on street harassment, featuring youth activists, GBV survivors, and EU representatives.
Catch our jingle, “ከትንኮሳ ነጻ ጎዳና” (Harassment-Free Streets), airing across regional stations.
Reclaiming Public Spaces: 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Introduction: To kick off the 16 Days of Activism, we collaborated with Studio11, a women-owned gallery in the heart of Addis Ababa, and a group of talented mural artists to create the interactive exhibition, "Reclaiming the Street." The exhibition sparked critical conversations around everyday street harassment and set the tone for the campaign.
Join the conversation and explore how the European Union and our Member States’ projects tackle gender-based violence in Ethiopia
