Women's rights are human rights

26.11.2021

It is estimated that 35 percent of women globally have experienced violence at some point in their lives. In Eswatini, 1 in 3 women and girls have experienced some form of violence by the time they reach 18 years of age. That is why the EU Delegation to Eswatini has joined the campaign to end violence against women and girls. On 25 November 2021, the Delegation also joined other partners including the Government of Eswatini and the UN in the national launch of the 16-Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. During this launch, the message was clear: Let us all take a stand and end violence against women and girls now!
