Both institutions expressed their satisfaction with the progress and implementation of the work plan and commended the quality of the deliverables produced by the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership.

For 2025, both the EU and the Council of Europe emphasised the need to enhance the visibility of the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership's work and to engage more young people and youth stakeholders in its activities. During 2025, the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership will also present the draft of its new work plan for 2026-2027, which will be based on the needs of young people in Europe and aligned with the youth strategy frameworks of both institutions.

The most significant event for 2025, supported by the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership, will be the 4th European Youth Work Convention. This meeting of the entire European youth work community of practice, held every five years, produces outcomes that serve as guidelines for youth work policy. The 4th European Youth Work Convention will take place in Valletta, Malta, from 27 to 30 May 2025.
