Throughout the coming weeks, and until the end of June, we will showcase, on social media, the remarkable work accomplished by many women, often unknown, in the fields of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law throughout the history of the Council of Europe and its current work. 

Every Friday until the end of June, we will share a video. Today, we start with the Council of Europe Secretary General, Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić, who shares her best memories, her pride in the success of the Reykjavik Summit, and her wishes for the Council of Europe. In addition, every Tuesday, we will publish the portraits of 5 women who work or worked at or with different entities of the Council of Europe at different times. For our posts on Tuesday 12 March, we chose Stella Kyriakides, Ellinor Von Puttkamer, Julia Laffranque, Gudrun Mosler-Törnström, and Feride Acar to start with.

A dedicated website and a physical exhibition (planned for the June PACE week) are in preparation.
