Submission of offers

The offer must mentioned the name of the purchaser or company. If the purchaser is a natural person, the offer must enclosed a copy of his valid ID or passport. If the purchaser is a moral person, the offer must enclosed:
- a legible copy of the notice of appointment of the persons authorised to represent the purchaser in dealings with third parties and in legal proceedings,
- a copy of the valid ID or passport of the persons authorized to represent the purchaser,
- the full official name,
- the official legal form,
- the statutory registration number,

- By express courier service, posted no later than 30/05/2023 , as evidenced by the postmark or the date on the delivery receipt received to the address stated below.
- Or delivered by hand to the address stated below by 30/May/2023 13:00 at the latest. Delivery by hand will be confirmed by a dated and signed receipt provided by an authorised agent from the European Union Delegation to Botswana and SADC.
Offers must be submitted in duplicate and should be inserted in a double envelope. Both envelopes must be properly sealed with adhesive tape with the prospective purchaser's signature written across the tape. The inner envelope should be addressed as follows:

Sales conditions
Bids can be submitted in either EUR or USD. Bids in EUR shall be assessed by reference to the INFOREURO rate on the date of closure of the tender. See: (http://ec.europa.eu/budget/contracts_grants/info_contracts/inforeuro/index_en.cfm)
All costs related to the sales transaction shall be borne by the buyer.
The offer to purchase must be valid for 6 months from the closing date of submission of the offers.
The final price might be negotiated with the highest bidders considering that the minimum bid shall be at least USD 1.237.500
Following the completion of the offers to purchase, the European External Action Service will, at its sole discretion, award the sale to the highest offer. The European External Action Service reserves the right to not award or to withdraw the sale at any time.
The Seller expects 30/06/2023 as date of settlement.
