On 27 Jan 2023, the Deputy Chief of the Spanish Joint Forces Operations Command, Brigadier General Carlos Prada Larrea, visited the European Union Training Mission in Central African Republic (EUTM CAR). During his visit, he had the opportunity to monitor the work recently done by EUTM CAR, and meet the Spanish Contingent deployed in the mission. In his agenda, the Spanish General had the opportunity to discuss with the EUTM Mission Force Commander, Brigadier General Lino Gonçalves, the current and future activities of the mission in support of CAR Armed Forces. He also visited the General Staff of the Central African Armed Forces, the Moana Camp and the Kassaï Training Centre.
