The European Union Film Festival returns to theatres in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver this November, and online across Canada in December.

Join our annual cinematic voyage and experience Europe’s cultural diversity through motion pictures. The festival takes you across the European Union thanks to a novel collection of films from all 27 European Union Member States, exclusively curated for EUFF.

What’s more, in a show of our continued solidarity with Ukraine, we are honoured to present a film from Ukraine, as part of fundraisers in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Proceeds from ticket sales will support war relief efforts in Ukraine through the Maple Hope Foundation.

Organized in partnership with the Canadian Film Institute, the European Union Film Festival in Toronto, the Cinematheque in Vancouver, the embassies, consulates and cultural institutes of EU Member States, the EUFF marks its 38^th edition in Ottawa, 26^th in Vancouver and 19^th in Toronto in 2023. It is the European Union’s longest-running cultural activity in Canada, a testament to our long-standing collaboration with our Canadian partners and friends.
