As a female enegineer in energy efficiency, Mabia continues to be pioneer in her field, improving energy use in Brazil.
I want to prove how women can be game changers in the tech world.
Thanks to the Brazil-European Union partnership's PotencializEE project, Mabia had the opportunity to acquire an energy efficiency certification that boosted her skills, expertise and professional growth. Rooted under the Global Gateway strategy, the project not only contributes to a more competitive and efficient energy sector in Brazil but also, thanks to Mabia's story, empowers other women to pursue careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. MEET BRIGITE
Brigite is an environmental engineer on a mission to make sustainability a top priority. She is flipping the script on waste disposal behaviours, pushing to switch to a circular economy.
With support of the Brazil-European Union partnership, we implement solutions for circular economy.
Joining Brazil & the European Union partnership, Brigite introduces easy waste management solutions to the local communities, helping people and local businesses see the potential of this under-used resource. Her project, through Global Gateway, seeks to contribute to a circular economy, in search of a Zero Waste future, working with the correct disposal of organic solid waste.

Gastronomy is an art in which a lot of collaboration takes place: between chefs and their teams, between restaurants and suppliers, between local and international experts.
To show the power of collaboration, the power of &, we invited two renowned Brazilian chefs to reimagine classic European dishes with a touch of Brazilian flavour.
The chefs were challenged to use at least 2 Brazilian ingredients, but were free to choose the European recipe they would be re-exploring.

Danrley is an internet personality and an important voice for social justice and equality in Brazil. He grew up in one of Rio de Janeiro’s largest favelas and advocates and supports them. He defends several hard topics in the country and uses his platform to speak out against racism, inequality, and other social issues affecting his country.

Lili Almeida is a chef and former participant in the TV programme ‘Mestre do Sabor’. She is a columnist and communicator on GNT, sharing her routine and several of her delicious recipes, characterised by strong seasoning and unmistakable flavours.

Rodrigo Oliveira
Born in São Paulo and recognised for serving traditional Northeastern dishes and highlighting the region's typical ingredients at the award-winning Mocotó restaurant in São Paulo, Chef Rodrigo Oliveira is the son of native Pernambucan people and has strong roots in Mulungu, a district of Sanharó in Agreste Central.
He was on the jury during the current season of MasterChef Brasil.
