- What, where and when: EU-LAC Digital Alliance High-level Policy Dialogues on (1) Connectivity and Inclusion, (2) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and (3) a stocktaking session to review the progress of the Digital Alliance in the last year. The activities will take place between November 5 and 6 in Santiago de Chile.
- Who: Senior government officials, representatives from the private sector, civil society and academia from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and the European Union (EU) and its Member States.
- Activities: Representatives from EU and LAC countries will share experiences and good practices in different areas of connectivity and AI and collaborate to attain a shared understanding of the priorities. They will also assess the best practices and lessons learnt in the last year of cooperation under the Digital Alliance.
- Aim: Formulate specific and actionable conclusions that lead to concrete activities in areas of shared interest in time for the EU-CELAC Summit in 2025 in Colombia.
