SCAN Project: Empowering Slum Communities in Dhaka through Enhanced WASH and Waste Management Services

The Slum-based Citizen Action Network (SCAN) project, dedicated to enhancing the contributions of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in realizing effective Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and Waste Management (WM) services, has successfully concluded on 30 June 2021. Targeting 20 slums within Dhaka City Corporation, this initiative has made significant strides in improving the quality of life for slum dwellers and marginalized groups. The project was funded by the European Union with an envelope of EUR 1,339,592. The project commenced on 1 January 2018 and ended on 30 June 2021. (42 months)
