Call for proposals for Civil Society Organizations in Bangladesh
For the European Union, civil society is vital to the fulfilment of human rights, fundamental freedoms, accountability, democracy and civic engagement in Bangladesh. Civil Society Organisations are key partners in devising and implementing policies and programmes that meet people's needs, reduce inequalities, realise rights and deliver inclusive services to fulfil the central commitment of the UN 2030 Agenda to leave no one behind.
In support of Civil Society Organisations in Bangladesh, the European Union has launched a call for proposals under its dedicated funding resources from (i) the thematic programme Civil Society Organisations for 2021-2024 and (ii) the thematic programme on Human Rights and Democracy for 2022-2024 financed under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI).
The call with the official reference EuropeAid/181621/DD/ACT/BD, invites Civil Society Organisations to submit proposals dedicated to advancing the decent work agenda, human rights due diligence, environmental protection, a climate resilient economy and society and freedom of expression in Bangladesh. We aim to target a wide range of organisations under the five thematic windows that offer different grant sizes and modalities.
We encourage applicants to review the guidelines and supporting documents available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal accessible under the following link: https://europa.eu/!8mqBVt. The deadline is 3 July 2024.
We look forward to receiving diverse and impactful project proposals.
