Summary:

The overall objective of the EU-funded project “Leveraging ASEAN Capacities for Emergency Response (LACER)” is to strengthen resilience in ASEAN region through improved disaster risk management.

More specifically, the project aims:

• to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre) to achieve operational excellence in disaster monitoring and emergency response
• to enhance mechanisms for ASEAN Leadership to Respond-As-One, through excellence and innovation in disaster management.
