Visas
Bolivian citizens require specific visas to visit or study in Europe. Schengen visa covers most of the EU countries and some additional countries in Europe

Because of the Schengen Agreement, it is possible to cross many borders within Europe without controls. Also, with the addition of the Euro in nineteen countries, the cost and the inconvenience of having to change currencies has been eliminated.

Study programmes
Bolivians can apply for different study opportunities in the EU.
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme that supports mobility projects in fields related to education. Bolivia participates in the following programmes:
- International mobility of credits.
- Erasmus Mundus joint Master’s Degrees.
- The development of skills in the field of higher education.
- Jean Monnet Chairs for higher education lecturers and institutions.
- Marie Curie fellowships for doctoral researchers and students and research centres.
